🌟 Luma: The Easiest And Most Affordable Choice
Who is it for?
Luma features the largest eyebox in our lineup — even larger than the VITURE Pro. If you've had trouble finding the sweet spot on VITURE Pro or feel you're right on the edge, Luma is highly recommended. Among all Luma models, this is the easiest one to find the sweet spot.
IPD Comparison Chart:

As screen sizes increase with birdbath-style displays, finding the right visual sweet spot becomes even more critical for experiencing the sharpest image possible. Selecting the correct IPD and making adjustments is key. If possible, we strongly recommend getting a formal eye exam, checking your supported IPD range, and choosing the most suitable size.
If your IPD falls within both size ranges, choose the one whose average is closer to yours. For example, if your IPD is closer to 64mm, go with Regular; if it's closer to 68mm, choose Large.
You can also consider ordering a prescription lens frame if you have astigmatism or unsupported diopters.
Pro Tip:
The closer the glasses are to your eyes, the sharper the image will appear. The nose pad is very flexible — don't hesitate to bend it firmly to find your perfect fit!
A few other tips to find the best display experience:
- Select the right nose pad — feel free to bend it firmly to achieve the best fit.
- Adjust the top knobs to match your eyesight.
- Adjust the temples up or down to find your perfect angle.
- Try out the brightness — crank it up to see how bright the max setting is!
- Double-click the same button to cycle through your favorite color modes (a customizable webpage will also be coming soon to help you fine-tune your preferred color).
- Single-tap the right short button to toggle the electrochromic film on or off.
With The Beast, since it has built-in 3DoF, you can further customize your screen size, position and use 3DoF to achieve the best view.
Similarly, with Luma Ultra — thanks to 6DoF in SpaceWalker, the screen is fully fixed in space, making it feel even closer to using a physical monitor.
👓 Luma Pro: The All-Around Performer

Who is it for?
- Users who want a straightforward, balanced XR experience and want to see that ultra-sharp screen first-hand as soon as possible.
- Frequent travelers, gamers, streamers, and anyone who loves to enjoy movies or work on a large virtual screen without hassle.
3DoF experience with SpaceWalker
Luma Pro includes a built-in magnetometer to help minimize drift, and we're continuously refining algorithms to improve stability and responsiveness. You may have already seen many users praising the latest SpaceWalker on Windows — even on VITURE Pro!
However, as we mentioned before, myopia adjustments can sometimes interfere with 3DoF tracking, requiring software compensation. If you deeply care about rock-solid 3DoF, The Beast is the way to go — with its hardware-level 3DoF, it offers minimal latency and a truly solid, smooth experience.
That said, SpaceWalker still offers a decent experience with richer features like multiple screens, combined with the fan-favorite Immersive 3D — all of which will continue to be supported across all VITURE XR glasses.
6DoF support in SpaceWalker
Yes the front RGB camera will further help improve screen stability, but in our view, a single-camera built-in 6DoF solution does not provide a truly usable experience. Achieving accurate depth tracking with just one camera is nearly impossible, and while software adjustments can help, they are still not ideal.
For true 6DoF performance, a dual depth-camera setup is definitely superior. So we highly recommend Luma Ultra if you are really into 6DoF. Offering a good experience is always our top priority.
One rule of thumb is to choose based on what is available out of the box. That's why we want to clearly list everything — what's available right away and what's coming after launch — so you can make a well-informed decision:)
Of course, many of our users already know how VITURE keeps delivering a better and better experience even after purchase!:)
✨ Luma Ultra: Finally, True AR Experience For Prosumers

Who is it for?
-
Business partners, AR game developers, and prosumers. Our Luma Ultra has
been highly requested, and we're thrilled to finally bring it to you! We are
working with leading innovators such as NVIDIA and Stanford University to
unlock its full potential. A VITURE for Business page will be launched soon,
where you'll be able to request:
1. The first SDK (for Unity) on the Pro Neckband, offering the best AR experience with full hand gesture support. A Windows SDK may follow later, but no exact date yet.
2. Additional developer resources — we plan to launch a dedicated Discord channel for developers once the SDK is ready. You can join our main Discord server now: https://discord.com/invite/viture. - Those wanting an ultra-stable, fixed screen for productivity tasks (though SpaceWalker is required for that setup).
- Thanks to the new SONY panel, brightness is even higher, making the screen look sharper to your eyes. For AR experiences, sufficient transparency and brightness are key so you stay aware of your environment.
How is 6DoF? Why is software still needed?
Luma Ultra is the first of its kind to feature a proprietary chip that handles all 6DoF calculations directly on the glasses themselves, allowing it to support 6DoF across different platforms without major compatibility issues.
To clarify the difference:
- 3DoF (three degrees of freedom) usually involves simple rotational tracking and can be handled by an IMU sensor at a relatively low cost.
- 6DoF (six degrees of freedom) is much more complex, as it requires precise depth tracking to capture forward/back, up/down, and side-to-side movements. Accurate 6DoF generally needs dual depth cameras and more advanced processing.
Traditionally, 6DoF calculations for this type of lightweight glasses had to be performed on an external computing unit, which meant heavy reliance on the device's processing power and often resulted in high latency and limited compatibility. Our Luma Ultra is the first to perform these calculations directly on the glasses — a true breakthrough — so it can support Pro Neckband, Windows, MacBook, and more without compatibility issues.
However, there's another part to the story: image processing. After the 6DoF data is captured and calculated, it needs to be processed and applied to the visual content in real time. This step still requires software support. It doesn't have to be in our SpaceWalker app — it can be implemented in any app developed using our SDK. This opens the door for amazing AR experiences where you can truly interact with your space, all in a lightweight device.
And yes — you can absolutely expect a fully built-in 6DoF device in the near future. Just like with display technology, VITURE is committed to pushing the boundaries and leading innovation in this space.
We hope this makes things clearer! 😊
Hand gesture support
Luma Ultra has exceptional support for hand gestures. Currently, it works best when paired with the Pro Neckband, providing much better performance than the built-in hand gesture functionality on the Neckband alone. (However, a major hand gesture update is also coming soon for the Neckband's native use!)
Hand gesture support on Windows?
Yes! Our development team uses it daily for testing on Windows. We'll need to double-check for Mac; however, the main question is which specific applications would make the most use of it. Even within SpaceWalker, the actual use cases for hand tracking on both Windows and Mac are still being explored.
How is 3DoF on Luma Ultra?
One important thing to clarify: 6DoF inherently includes 3DoF functionality. So, on Luma Ultra, there isn't a separate "only 3DoF" mode — it always operates in full 6DoF by default.
A few additional things to note:
When not using any apps, Luma Ultra functions as a "dumb monitor" mode, in case you have any privacy concerns:
- There is an indicator light that turns on when the front camera is active.
- The side gray-scale cameras used for depth sensing are only activated for 6DoF tracking and, by default, do not capture anything else.
- The front camera will not work unless it is specifically enabled by the user.
Overall, Luma Ultra also supports all the features found in Luma Pro and Luma. If you want the absolute best — especially in terms of AR capabilities and future-proof features — Luma Ultra is the way to go!
🦾 The Beast: The Ultimate Immersive Giant

Who is it for?
- Anyone craving built-in spatial awareness and multi-window flexibility directly on the glasses, without extra software. If that sounds like you, look no further — The Beast is your perfect match! It delivers a rock-solid experience with no drift at all.
- Gamers and cinephiles who want the largest, most immersive screen experience possible.
For details about 6DoF support on The Beast, please refer to the explanation under Luma Pro. As for hand gestures — all our glasses can support them when used with the Pro Neckband, but Luma Ultra offers the best overall performance on this front.
Productivity Comparison
We've seen many questions asking for a comparison between Luma Ultra and The Beast — especially when it comes to productivity. Both are excellent options, but here are a few key points to consider:
- Sharpness: All models deliver equally excellent screen clarity.
- Adjustability: The Beast does not have adjustable myopia dials. So if your prescription isn't perfectly accurate and you need fine adjustments, Luma Ultra might be a better choice.
- Flexibility: The Beast offers the most flexible experience — for example, if you want to enjoy Immersive 3D with 3DoF or customize screen size directly on the glasses, The Beast will be the best (and only) option for you!
- Weight: The Beast is slightly heavier, but its screen flexibility and immersive capabilities are unmatched. In the end, it's all about choosing "your screen, your way!"
A Few Additional Questions From The Community

How is color accuracy?
Similar to VITURE Pro, we offer five color profiles, but even better — we'll be launching a webpage soon where you can easily calibrate the color profile to match your own preferences and needs!
Why no "Large" SKU for Luma Ultra?
Luma Ultra was originally designed mainly for businesses and prosumers, so a larger version is not planned at this time.
Is 3DoF supported on Samsung DeX?
Yes, on The Beast.
Will the Mobile Dock convert Switch games to 3D in the future?
Possibly with a future "Mobile Dock Ultra," but it would likely be much more expensive. Would you still want it? Let us know your thoughts!
One final thing we'd like to add: as more developers and partners join us, the potential of Luma Ultra will continue to grow. Again we'll launch a dedicated site so you can connect directly with us and see some truly amazing demos very soon.
AR experiences, just like Immersive 3D, have to be seen to be believed — they're just so game-changing and breathtaking. It's hard to describe, but we can confidently say: The Future Is Right in Your Glasses!
We hope this helps you feel more confident and excited to experience the future NOW!
